Nice Boutique Hotel on Lake Victoria

My girlfriend and I stayed at Saffron Beach Bistro before and after our trip to Bwindi NP to trek with gorillas. The communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was excellent and the owner was onsite the entire time. He made sure we had a pick up from the hotel upon arrival and arranged a car to take us to the airport as well. The staff is so friendly and always smiling. The Indian Cuisine is excellent (the owners wife runs a vegetarian YouTube Channel!) and rooms are clean and comfortable with strong AC and long lasting hot water showers. The location is great on a small little road, right on the lake, with several other boutique hotels nearby which provide some variety if you want to mix up your dining locations. It is within walking distance of the local shopping mall and National Botanical Gardens of Entebbe (a must if you have time). It is also only a short drive from the airport and a perfect spot if you want avoid the hustle and bustle of Kampala and enjoy peaceful lake views.

I’m hard to impress but i was blown away by Saffron hotel.Starting with our lovely hosts Raul and Vandana(who were very warm and very friendly by the way) down to the waiters and waitresses even the security guard.wow!..it was my birthday,and on arrival,i was given the best surprise ever!i felt like a princess the entire time we were there..the food was the best(i dont know how many times I’ve ordered for chicken biriyani and I’ve been served with some miserable meal but with Saffron,i got the best of the best biriyani I’ve ever eaten!)our room was perfect!very clean.i enjoyed the lonely walks at the beach(very romantic.i could go on and on but let me end here..all i know is that i cant wait to go back there..Thank you so much Raul,Vandana and staff.may God bless you…guys,Saffron hotel is the real deal.You will be treated like royalty.i promise you.And for those that love destination weddings or beach weddings,Saffron hotel is the place to go to..you will get your money’s worth.they give the best customer care I’ve ever experienced.

Perfect Beginning to a Great Trip

From booking the room to the airport pickup, everything was perfect. The room was clean, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was helpful & caring. Very convenient to the airport and a beautiful location by the water. Rahul was such a huge help and was quick to reply to any questions prior to arrival.

Amazing food & service!

I can’t say enough great things about this establishment. The food is amazing- the tandoori chicken is an absolute must try- but all the food is wonderful.

The service is perfect, & you’re never left waiting.

The view of lake Victoria as you’re having dinner or drinks is better than anywhere else on the water.

We have been here three different times, & each time was better than the first.

If you’re traveling through, there is no need to stop anywhere else, as there is also a beautiful hotel with prices that are perfect for solo, family or a quick business trip. (Only 10 minutes from the airport!)

Amazing stay

The saffron beach has wonderful helpful staff. The manager helps you with every detail with your stay in Uganda from safari to personal wants. The rooms are confortable and the beauty is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel for an relaxing helpful and amazing stay in Uganda

Surprises, caring management, great ambiance.

I had a weekend of my life, the managers took good care of us and had surprises for us with some free take aways. A beach so relaxing!

Second Home!!!

You’ve heard that phrase of ‘home away from home’ or ‘second home’? Nowhere had it made more sense than when I first visited Saffron Beach Bistro and Cottages.

Our stay here was met with the most relaxing experience, the best, friendliest, warmest, welcoming and most professional staff. The proprietors Raul and Vandanna, plus their two lovely young boys are some of the best I’ve met in all my travels.

I loved the food especially my huge appetite for Indian cuisine but mostly because the chef would bring to your palate’s amazement the best idea off of your head in a whisker. Think about what you want to eat and it is delivered to you in just a couple of minutes! It was really amazing. The rooms were excellent with great service, 24/7 wifi, jacuzzi, and an all-around relaxing environment not so far from the city. Perfect for honeymooners, anniversaries, friendversaries, sunday outing, etcetera.

Accomodating staff and execclent view with beautful Room setup

I have stayed here for 2nights with family and felt like i was in paradise, Amazing lake view from tarrace and very Accomodating staff, love thé food spécially indian food, Rooms are beautfull with very Romantic ambiancé. Good location highly recomnded….

Very nice place

The place is very nice, rooms are comfortable and clean. The view on the lake is really beautiful and visible from the restaurant. The owner makes your stay as best as possible! The staff is charming and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Entebbe.
